BLOODY SUNDAYS

Bloodynose
GRRRRRRR!
My allergies are so bad now that almost every morning i wake up with a bloody nose!

I
take clarinex, but it’ll work for only a couple of hours and then poof,
my nose will get itchy and i *rub* *rub*, then voila - my blood will
run again.

I stole the toilet paper from the bathroom ( i lead
such a glamorous life!)  so that i’d be ready. My blood is pretty
tricky. At times i’ll know when it’s coming out and other times I would
just be inspecting the cracks on the wall or something fun like that
and outta nowhere the blood will gush out of my nose like Niagra Falls.

NoseThen at the end I get this really big glob of blood that’s
clotted. Looks like the kinda blood the comes out during PMS. Girls you
know what I’m talking about - the clotty little balls of blood.

Oh how fun!

CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND SOMETHING?

That’s craziness! That’s not a good thing… Suggestions however— I’m a little stumped… My little sister used to get nose bleeds but they wern’t alergy related… She used to inhale water through her nose to get it to stop… I don’t know if that’ll help you, but it’s just a thought.

errr… that’s kinda wierd, don’t try inhaling h20, it may cause u death, coz water can block your airways or whatever they’re called…anyway, i got the same problem, although mine isn’t allergy, like u when i start to rub my nose minutes later, there will be blood spillin out,so my suggestions are
    1. try to see a doctor
    2. try not to rub your nose
    3. don’t block the blood, let it bleed coz like u said it forms that unpleasant blob of blood that looks like PMS errr…. yuck yuck…whatever that is
    4. and if it’s bleedin already, try to ignore it it’ll be gone soon
    (ignore this one)

actually, i’ve been to a doc, and he said that its a vein*(spellin check) a sensitive one, and the moment it gets irritated it bleeds… so try not to touch your nose

Oh wow! Something I can use my expertise on! I’m hoping what Carlos meant by “Inhale water through her nose” is actually saline spray. There is saline spray you can buy to help keep your nasal passages moist. That will help.

What about hydration in general? Do you dring lots and lots of water? Prolly…you are, after all a model…but be sure you DRINK!!

And winter is worst because the ambient air is drier. Buy a cool-mist machine and keep it running in your house. The moisture will help…if that’s too expensive/impratical…just boil a 2-4 quart saucepan of water each night…but that’s a pain in the ass!

Quit pickin’ it, and put neosporin blobs in there when it itches.

We actually have the same problem. I consulted an ENT doctor and gave me medications. It worked but it came back. I searched in the net and I discovered that petroleum jelly works. Just apply it in your nostrils so that there would be moisture inside your nose. It would heal the wound in your nose and make your condition better.

    makoy :)
