OMG! YOU’RE SUCH A FREAK! YOU BELONG IN A CARNIVAL!

did i ever tell you guys i have the weirdest feet? my mom had always told me when i asked her about it, "oh it’s normal. everyone has feet like that."

so if it’s so normals, why do people make such a big deal out of it??

a photographer i knew used to be on my case constantly about me possibly doing some feet modeling for him. but i always said no because i thought, ewww, weird! i told him, "jim, i’m like the penguin from Batman, you know?" well, ok, they’re not THAT weird, but it’s still freaky.

so what’s wrong with my feet, you ask?

Daphne’s Feet Stats:

Left Foot: size 6

Right Foot: size 8

aaaargh! now you know my secret! i feel so naked! i bared my SOLE (haha…sole…get it??…do ya? do ya?) to everyone!

ok. i won’t show you pictures because you guys will make fun of me and i dont like being made fun of unless i can laugh myself :-P

hehe.

next time any of you ladies walk into a nice shoe store and you try on those really sexy heels and you realize that the sizes don’t match up, you can blame it on me!

so… did your left grow breast bigger than the right one to compensate for your disproportionately large right foot? watching you swim must be uber entertaining, no?

  2. Jacqueline Says:

Hey! it’s no big deal. I don’t think our body parts on the left side must be of the same size, or similar to our right. I think one of my feet is somehow bigger than the other. My left eye is larger than my right eye….I even think one of my boobs is bigger than the other…hahaha…honestly..u may laugh but it’s true!

  3. Venus Says:

Hahaha… awww, D! Bless! you’re unique! How many people do you know who’s got one foot bigger than the other?! You’re special!=)

  11. KC Says:

we all got our own “irregularities”. it’s all up to us to actually turn that into something positive; usually the best way to do this is through humour. props for a funny blog entry!

  12. Miko Says:

I guess that would be a little inconvenient to buy footwear, but at least shoes in respective size(s) are available in most countries.
My shoe size is 12+. Both feet. And where I live (PRC) the biggest shoes on sale are size 9.

  13. Donna Says:

hi, glad i ran in to this post, i’m a foot care specialist attatched to an american based company called foot solutions, my comment would be that almost everyone has the same problem in terms of leg length or foot length disorders, it’s COMMON!! i know because i measure tons of peoples feet (BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT)everyday and they differ mostly by a half size larger or 2 to 3 sizes wider and even length of leg differs as well, so you obviously need to get shoes to fit the longer foot. what will definitely help my dear, is a pair of customised insoles to help support your feet, especially your shorter foot as it will slip inside the shoe. even without any foor problems it is important to give your feet support, your feet is the most neglected part of the body. need to know more? do visit the nearest foot health centre near you.

    regards,
    Donna

  14. Soo Says:

My feet are unequal in size too. Don’t worry, its common.

    Deformities:
-For a male of my age (22), I have small feet (about US size 7 half)

-My left ear is different size from my right

-I have mild acne on my face, chin, chest, upper back, shoulders and ears (!)

-My left collarbone was broken years ago and it never healed properly

-My nose is deviated to the right by 5 degrees due to childhood accident

-My right eye is 3x less myopic than my left

  15. kathryn Says:

  17. Dave Says:

I still have wet dreams and I am 23.. does that make u feel better?

  18. Richard Says:

I admit the numbers don’t lie. But it simply impresses me the way you express your self.
Look for the movie “Boomerang” with Eddie Murphy it has a funny thing about feet in that one.
Beside I use to work in a shoe store. Nobody feet are the same size. Well except mine (kidding)

Tell you what I gonna turn 30 years old and I have had grey hair since high school. Every year a lil more; it is getting worse. I’m salt and pepper. They tell me it one of two things either it is a sign of luck or blessing. So I’m not gonna change a thing.

    Richard

  19. Ajeng Says:

    How do you buy shoes?
    No body’s perfect!

  20. praveena Says:

hehe..your unique!!! :) I have very broad feet so wearing heels is imposibble.. sad but true… whatever!!!! how do u buy shoes? does the store assisant give u weird looks or anything?

  21. Jenny Says:

I think you’re unique. It’s okay to be different. It would be wierd if we were all the same. People like you should be proud that you’re unique. Better than being boring and dull =P. I have short feet tendents in my right foot. So, when I go swimming, foot cramp really bad. *Ouch*!!! I can’t think of anything else that’s different in size, but I”m different from everyone else I’ve met. I get giggle fits over nothing, and I’m a very random person. That’s why my friends love me so much. I’m a fun person to be with, and I’m sure you are too. No decent person in this world will judge you by your feet. Take care, and peace out.

P.S. Be proud of who you are!!!

  22. Adhi'N Says:

ok big deal filipino are usually born with preety face and some t&a…

itz ok… pinoy blonde.. he he.. astig un dba???

  25. Daryl Says:

Stumbled onto your blog… have the same problem with different foot sizes (right foot’s about a size bigger than the left). Maybe what you need to do is find a woman who has the opposite problem and you can both go shoe shopping, buy two pairs, and then swap accordingly! :)

  26. layden Says:

well its not a big deal to know, what is important is how you treat yourself as a person. If you treat yourself as a weido people will treat you as wierdo but if you treat yourself as special people will treat you special. Take it as your trademark like EMINEM being a nasty rapper and me being your admirer.

  27. myrna Says:

Nothing’s really perfect you know. God made things that way to leave it to us to make the changes. Besides it isreally proven that some parts of your body is not really balance with other part..like other ear is bigger than the other one, or other hand is bigger than the other and so on…like me my left breast is bigger than my right breast. But the heck with those for as long as you are healthy, it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s all nothing but superficial when you die you’ll end up to dust anyways..haha!

  28. BingVivieneMae Says:

I have big feet and my toes look like they’re cauliflowers spreading out like a fan My toes are longer than my husbband’s fingers. My cousins call my feet “yucky”.
But I don’t care….I know I have more wonderful and beautiful things about me that most people normally notice…And I thank God for it.

  29. Mirna Sakina Says:

    D,
For someone that feels like a freak, you sure posted a very nice picture of you!
I have something weird too in myself:
    - A bluish birthmark on my left shoulder.
    - Another thing that really embarassing, some hair grow around my nipples and I have to cut them regularly. Yeeiikkkssss……I think even boys won’t have them!
    - A big feet of mine. They are very usefull when I had Taekwondo competitions to kick some ass!

  30. Rain Says:

At least you weren’t born with an underdeveloped twin.

  31. cARmeLa Says:

but… how do you buy shoes?

  32. emerjelo Says:

so i think ur beatiful now than last time that i saw u! keep it up my friends!

  33. Stephen Says:

fact: almost everyones feet doesnt have the same size. yours is just little bigger in size difference.

  34. Linda Says:

I have weird feet too! My second toe is my longest, which is apparently common, however, it’s super long… I mean I can hail cabs with this toe.

Love your blog by the way… very funny stuff.

  35. Alicia Says:

Nothing weird about me….just the fact that I want to do modelling…know any agencies around Makati area?

    Australian…brunette…blue eyes…live in Philippines!

  36. chay Says:

weird is not me at all!
    but weird eversince…

  37. Jeanette Says:

I thought I was the only one that noticed that my foot wasn’t the same size. My left foot is bigger than my right. I feel weird asking the person in the shoe department, “May I have the left one in an 8 1/2 wide and the right one in an 8?” After reading your blog and some of the comments, I won’t feel so weird anymore! =) Thanks for sharing!!!

  38. Marissa Says:

I WANT TO BE LIKE U

  39. -nnisaaa- Says:

    my abnormalities are:

/my left eye is more myopic than my rights
    /my eyes have different size
    and lastly:
i have flat feet. do you get it? it gets really exhausting to do long walks.

but i enjoy my life as it is now. keep shining!

  40. Dea Says:

    Well… here’s the fact
my right foot is one number bigger that the left one. I thought I was the only one. So its kinda hard to find perfect shoes for me. Anyway, if it’s not too loose for the left foot then the shoes must be too tight for the right one.

Go girl, we’re not the weirdest !!

  41. Renee Says:

hey, nice blog…i have facial hairs that have to be shaved or plucked every week bec. i’m so balbon…hope it makes u feel better (wink)

  42. F R A N C E S Says:

    hey there,

i don’t think you’re weird at all.. you see, everybody has their own set of “weirdness” and yours happen to be your feet.. wanna know mine? my left leg is 3cm shorter than my right.. which gave me a mild case of scoliosis.. darn.. and it still gives me back pains every now & then.. i don’t need braces or corrective surgery, i just need to mind my posture.. i don’t have that hunchback or S-curvature, i pretty much look normal.. but, there’s that “weirdness” still.. all i can say is, nobody is perfect.. you may not be perfect but parts of you are excellent.. take care girl! c”,)

  43. xXtRiShXx Says:

weird?? my second toe is bigger than the big toe, thats the wierdestthing about me!!!
